I am a creative and highly motivated visual communicator with over 14 years of experience combining science, graphic arts, and digital design. A longtime beekeeper, I specialize in pollinator outreach, advocacy and education. I love collaborating with scientists, beekeepers and pollinator educators to create new content for diverse audiences. I graduated with a B.A. in Biology with an emphasis in Ecology and Environmental Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato. As a lifelong learner, I continues to take classes in the sciences, writing, and graphic and digital arts. I have worked for the University of Minnesota Bee Squad since 2015.
In addition to pollinator education, I have experience with fundraising and donor engagement, from fundraising campaigns to event conception and design. In 2012, I founded and continue to run a small honey label business, serving the branding needs of honey producers across the U.S.
